Cell Phone Problems

I’m having cell phone problems.  I have a few old cell phones I’ve saved in case of emergencies but they seem to have problems too.  I have one decent phone but no charger. GREAT!  I have a huge SideKick phone but it also has no charger and the back piece is broken.  The one I’m using now is a flip phone that does stay open properly so I lose my phone calls.  The person has to then call me back and I better make sure to leave my phone open to get the call.  Now I just ordered a new phone from ebay.  I’ve never ordered anything from ebay so I hope everything goes well. 

Superstitions

I was driving when suddenly a light brown rabbit crossed in front of me.  I quickly thought of what that would mean to my luck.  I know if a black cat crosses in front of someone it indicates bad luck but what about when a fuzzy rabbit crosses in front of someone?  I don’t think it’ll mean that I’ll have bad luck because how can a cute animal  bring bad luck.  It’s funny (or strange) because earlier today I was in A.C. Moore and I was looking at acrylic  paints and there was a ladder in my  way.  I was going to move the ladder but decided against it because wherever I moved it it would be in the way.  I just hope my mirrors don’t decide to suddenly brake.  I think I should stay home until tomorrow.  It’s too scary out there.

Sweet 16

Everyone is always talking about weddings but what about that other special occasion, Sweet Sixteen.  I watch the show on MTV called Sweet Sixteen and it’s just crazy how these girls and sometimes guys have these over the top parties let me just say it’s not the norm.  I don’t think the average girl will be getting a car worth as much as a house as a gift.  Even if you can’t afford an elaborate party you can always try to splurge on the dress.  Yes, it’s all about the dress.  Here are some pics and these dresses come in other colors shown too.  Check them out @ EdenBridals.

Home Spa

This week has been a busy one, all I want to do is soak my feet and get a massage.  I would love to turn my bathroom into a spa, if for just one day. But at the moment a candle and some fancy smelling soaps will do.  I’d include the following items:

Urinal For Women

A few post ago I had written about a spray that’ll help with the stink when using the towlets.  Now I’ve found something else.  As a woman I’m always concern of where the nearest bathroom is located but sometimes when I’m going somewhere I’ve never driven before I have no idea where there might be a restroom.  For men if there is no restroom nearby they can release themselves almost anywhere while us women cross our legs and pray that a rest stop is nearby.  Many times I’ve had to hide behind bushes and cars to do natures thing but often times i’ve  feared that something might bite my butt.  Now I’ve found a portable urinal for women.  Click here for details.

A New Earth or Not

I’m reading LIFE OF PI and I only have a few more pages left.  I had started reading it last year or so but I put it down one day and didn’t pick it up until recently.  There are parts that I could have gone without but overall it’s a book that I would recommend.  My problem is, what do I read next?  I was looking at what was on the bestseller list and I see that the book Oprah has on her book club has been there for a long time.   But I don’t know I have mixed feeling about reading it.  I don’t know if I care for its content but it seems a lot of people do.  Has anyone read it? It’s called A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose by Eckhart Tolle.

French Lessons

Today was a lazy sunday. 

I watched La Vie en Rose.  I really enjoyed it, it’s about the life of the French singer Edith Piaf.  This weekend I also heard  L’Incedndiby Vanessa  Paradis the song is really nice even though I have no idea what she’s singing about.  Maybe I should learn some French.  I know Spanish, so that might help.  I wonder how long it would take to learn a new language? 

Obama on The View

Today I made sure to watch The View because Borack Obama was going to be on.  I not only wanted to see what he was going to say but I wanted to see Elizabeth say something stupid.  And it was very interesting how he told her “imagine if somebody compiled the five stupidest things you ever said…” and you hear a slight laughter from someone and then look at Joy.  I think Joy liked his comment as well.  In watching Obama today I think he is someone that would make a great leader, a leader to lead us out of the shit hole that Bush has dug us all into.  I’m just saying.
