GGRRRRR!!!!! I spotted a few tiny insects on my desk. I would have never noticed them but as I opened my check book one of those tiny critters ran on my check. Not only are they tiny and I mean tiny like the size of a pin hole but they are almost transparent colored. They are more or less the color of my skin. Oh god!!!! I’m itchy!!! I tried to find them online but to no avail. I hope they don’t carry parasites. (I’ve been watching the show Monsters Inside Me. ) I’m paranoid. What are these insects??? Can I take them to a lab?
For some reason it seems harder and more difficult for women to get pregnant than it did a generation ago. What could be the reason? Are women just waiting until they get older? Whatever the reason might be it doesn’t matter right now. Right now you just want to get pregnant. I was watching tv and saw a new at home test from First Response that’ll test if your are fertile. So not only do they have the regular pregnancy test and the ovulation test but a third test to determine if you are able to get pregnant. Click here for more info.
I’m sick, yet again. I have a cold. I had so much stuff to do today but one can not predict these things so I’m home feeling lousy. I watched 2 movies, Choke and a Spanish movie Fred y Elsa. I also watched the last episode of Big Love. Now I have the Golden Girls on. What else can I watch? I hate being sick. When are they going to find a cure for the common cold? Actually when is the last time they found a cure for anything? Something to ponder.
A few years ago I hurt my foot while trying to play soccer. My foot did hurt for a few days but I was able to walk. Present day, it hurts to walk. I have to walk on the edge of my foot which starts hurting my ankles my knees and my other foot (because it’s carrying most of the weight). So since it hasn’t gotten better I’ve made a doctor’s appt for tomorrow. I checked out foot.com to see what it had to say but it doen’t show the pain I feel.
It’s the day after Christmas and I had a few things to do but I think I’m coming down with something I just hope it’s not the flu. I took a pill and hope it’ll work cause whatever I have I don’t want it to last.Â
I feel like crap! I’ve been sick for a few days now and it feels like I’m never going to get better. Excuse me while I sneeze all over the keyboard. Gross! This morning while I was coming in and out of conscious I heard this lovely song on the tv it was Kristin Chenoweth singing -  Do You Hear What I Hear. It’s clear to me that Christmas is starting without me. Whooping cough a disease from the 1900’s is making a comeback. My co-workers and I might have been exposed.Â
What is Whooping cough? is a highly contagious bacterial disease that causes uncontrollable, violent coughing. The coughing can make it hard to breathe. A deep “whooping” sound is often heard when the patient tries to take a breath. And you can have this for about a month. The thing is you won’t know you have it for a few weeks because it begins as if you have a cold. I think I’ve been vaccinated for this when I was young but you need to get booster shots and still with all that you can get the whooping cough. I might have to take some antibiotics.  GREAT!
Imagine getting paid to take and keep your child in school with only one exception, you must take your child to the medical clinic for check ups. This program is offered to the poor in Mexico and about five million families are going to benefit from this Cash Reward program. The money which is about $30 a month will help the family with the rising cost of food.
Other versions of this Cash Reward program are springing up in countries such as Zimbabwe.
And the New York mayor, Michael Bloomberg, hopes to offer a similar program to the American poor.
Imagine if you went to the store and chocolate, potato chips, soda and french fries were as expensive as a gallon of gas. Well, no need to imagine because it might come true.  In an attempt to fight the bulge the French are trying to increase sales tax on extra-fatty, salty or sugary products. It would be interesting going to the supermarket and deciding between the chicken or the chocolate cake for dinner.
I have a headache, it especially pounds when I get up. According to the National Headache Foundation, over 45 million Americans suffer from chronic, recurring headaches and of these, 28 million suffer from migraines. About 20% of children and adolescents also have significant headaches. I think mine started because I hadn’t eaten lunch. I ate when I got home which was closer to an early dinner. I ate but the headache is still there. I don’t want to take any medication but I will if it gets worse. I just hope it doesn’t turn into a migraine.
