Tomorrow Friday, February 1, 2008 is National Wear Red Day for Healthy Heart Awareness. Wear the color red tomorrow and show your support. If you wear red go to Macy’s and get a percentage off your purchase.
The Red Dress—the national symbol for women and heart disease awareness—was designed to build awareness that women are at risk for heart disease, and motivate them to take action to reduce their risk.  Follow The Heart Truth and learn about heart disease in women this February, and throughout the year, through a series of exciting events taking place across the nation!
How long do we have to wait for “The Office” to start again?! I enjoy watching reruns but… I need something new. Maybe I should just close my eyes and picture myself working @ Dunder Mifflin and answering the phone, “Dunder Mifflin this is Zara” and constantly glancing over to the desk across and smiling @ my co-worker, Aj. How fun it would be! And it actually could because you can apply to Dunder Mifflin. I’ll go directly to Scranton and drop off my resume. Yes, an excuse to drive up to Scranton and see the places they show at the beginning of each episode.
I was looking around to see what treat I could buy for Valentine’s Day and I found a really nice cake. I was ready to check out sizes and price but how disappointed was I when I noticed it wasn’t something to buy but something to make. The picture of the cake followed sentences and sentences of directions.Â
The site has some great stuff if you enjoy baking. I like cooking I’m not that much into baking unless it comes out of a box and all I have to do is add an egg or two.
At the moment I’m watching a show on the TLC channel called, “Say Yes to the Dress“ The show is about brides going to a wedding dress store, Kleinfeld, and the process of picking the RIGHT wedding dress.  It also shows what the consultant have to deal with with each new bride.  Check it out its on tv right now.  I checked out the website for the actual store they have hundreds of beautiful dresses.
My neighbors are full of drama. The Moebies had a big fight last week that she left the house crying and I guess he passed out because when she returned to get her purse there was no sounds coming from him. Yesterday I saw him and as quickly he walked through the door she walked out.Â
As for Natasha, the downstairs neighbor, I think she’s forcing her husband to quit his job and work locally so he can watch their daughter after school. Also last week her car was almost towed away and when I looked out the window and saw some women in a robe talking to my husband I was who can this crazy woman be, it was Natasha, she had just moved her car.
Yesterday while Oprah was on they interrupted for Braking News and the anchor woman said that actor Heath Ledger was found dead. How sad. All I could think about was how the pictures of the up coming movie, Batman, showed him as the crazy looking Joker. He was great in Brokeback Mountain.Â
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.†I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood. I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a desert state, sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice. I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.
If Tom Cruise swears by Scientology and says it cures all then he should be the first one knocking at Britney’s door and “curing” her. That would be Katie’s opportunity to escape. Good luck to all!
The other day I walked by McDonalds and noticed that their playground section had been replaced by a new store that sells wheelchairs, canes and the very popular rollators.  A lot of elderly people in the neighborhood I work in use the rollator to do grocery shopping and to just get around and visit friends. I think the rollator give the eledery a sence of independence. I always wondered how they keep from rolling and I found out it has brakes!
